Acting Coach

579644_10150662453107607_296227734_nLena has an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Tennessee and a B.A. in Theatre and music from Washington University in St. Louis. She has taught acting to children, high school students, and adults of all ages. At UT, she taught Acting I, II, theatre history, and the young conservatory for middle school and high school students. In New York she taught privately and assisted Lisa Rothe in directing students of the NYU Graduate Acting program.

Since moving to the Bay Area, she has not only been acting herself, but has coached numerous actors. Lena helps actors with vocal technique, stage fright, movement, and acting choices. Using the Alexander Technique, she teaches her students how to find more spontaneity, ease and confidence in auditions and performances.
